When we state that our goal is to teach the highest quality martial arts, it refers not only to high standards of technical skills, but to the character development and leadership skills that are an essential element of ​truly learning Tae Kwon Do. Therefore, our training includes skills valuable in daily life: cooperation, respect, self-control, focus, and confidence.

We know from experience that training in Tae Kwon Do helps students in their personal and professional life. The positive character traits that develop will help them at work, school, at home, and on the playing field.

About Grandmaster Baek K. Lee
​

Grandmaster Lee has earned national recognition for his martial art skills and teaching methods in Korea. He has also contributed to the SWAT team and police to save many hostages and citizens safe from criminals. Throughout his professional career, he learned self-defense in many forms. He currently holds a 7th-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He also holds a 4th-degree black belt in Hap Ki Do.

Master Lee currently directs all his efforts to bring the benefits of Martial Arts to the local community. Below are his many past titles and accomplishments.

About Headmaster Jung Chan Yun
​

​Master Yun earned several professional licenses and certificates during his time in Korea. He's proficient is several styles of Martial Arts. But above all, he makes classes fun and finds ways to explain his techniques to students of all ages.

​

Some of Master Yun's achievements are highlighted below:

​​

  • Captain of the Department of Martial Arts at Sunmoon University in 1999.

  • Graduated from Sunmoon University's Department of Martial Arts.

  • Served in the Korean army from 2000 to 2002.

  • Obtained Level 1 certificate as children's sports instructor in 2003.

  • Obtained level 1 certificate in Sports Massage Therapy in 2003.

  • Obtained level 2 license as Host for Recreational Activities in 2003.

  • Obtained level 2 certificate to prescribe exercise routines following sports injuries in 2003.

  • Achieved 2nd Degree Black belt in Kyuki-Do (Style of Martial Arts) in 2003.

  • Achieved 2nd Degree Black belt in Judo (Style of Martial Arts) in 2003.

  • Sunmoon University's demonstration team's "Too Hon" leader (team captain) in 2003.

  • Obtained license to judge the Hapkido Federation in 2004.

  • US Demonstration Invitation Performance (Iowa State UNIV) in 2004.

  • Obtained level 3 Bodyguard License from the International Security Association in 2007.

  • Achieved 4th Degree Black belt in Korean Hapkido in 2010.

  • Achieved 6th Degree Black belt in Taekwondo in 2021.

  • Promoted to Headmaster of BH Martial Arts in 2021.
